The Bhishma Parva ( Sanskrit: भीष्म पर्व), or the Book of Bhishma, is the sixth of eighteen books of the Indian epic Mahabharata. It includes the Bhagavad Gita, the dialogue between Arjuna and Krishna on why and when war must be fought, dharma, and the paths to liberation. The Bhishma Parva describes the first 10 days of the great war between Pandavas and Kauravas.
